This oil painting was done the very next morning after a plein air painting. The plein air piece didn’t work out but the memory of the colors where still so fresh and this one went smothly. It shows a view along the river Elbe in my hometown Hamburg. Dusk is setting in and you can see the direction line for all the shipping traffic on the river.
