If you work with pastels you should take into consideration to wear a mask to protect your lungs.There are various models available at the hardware store but I always had the feeling that I couldn’t breath so well. A couple of years ago I found an excellent alternative from the company Totobobo . It was originally invented to help you protect against air pollution in Asia but you can use it against pastel dust as well.
These are the pads after a week of use, even though I have additional air cleaner in my studio.

weist Du ob man diese Maske auch als Brillenträger nutzen kann?
Denn bisher ist mir bei allen Masken die Brille beschlagen, da der Atem nach oben steigt, und die Masken nicht dicht abschließen. Mit beschlagener Brille sieht ja alles recht nebelig aus ;-)

Die neuen Modelle sehen so aus, als ob sie oben besser schließen würden. Ich bin zwar keine Brillenträgerin, aber ich habe einen kleinen Bereich einfach mit Leukoplast abgeklebt.

Apology if this reply comes late. The new Totobobo mask can be shaped to fit individual face, such that there is no leak around the nose bridge. It can eliminate the fogging completely and provides better protection against fine particles.
